The living room features a sofa bed for two people (2 children or 1 adult) with a Scandinavian ceiling fan, and the bedroom has a double bed with 4 storage drawers underneath. The curtains are blackout. The apartment is equipped with reversible air conditioning. Rolling shutters are installed in the living room and bedroom windows. Side sea view from the terrace accessible from both the living room and bedroom.

Beyond its 8 km of sandy beach, its marine lake and its large pine forest that surrounds it, Barcarès is a city of Avant-Garde with an amazing heritage. To realize this, just stroll along the waterfront, especially in the Grande Plage district. It is here that you will find the Liner of the Sands "Lydia" and the museum of contemporary art in the open air, "the alley of the arts" two places as unlikely as unexpected, labeled "heritage of the twentieth century" since 2010.
The Paquebot des Sables, figurehead of Barcarès!
No, you are not dreaming. This is not a mirage. This gigantic ship washed up on the beach of Port Barcares is very real! Now one of the symbols of the Catalan seaside resort, the one known as the "liner of the Sands" arouses the curiosity and imagination of visitors. It is the only silted liner and one of the oldest existing in the world.

Presented as the "longest open-air museum in the world", the Barcarès Arts Alley extends for about 1 km along the beach. Nicknamed the «Sand Museum» by the Greek urban planner Candilis, this Avant-Garde museum was created in the summer of 1969, under the leadership of Senator Gaston Pams and the British gallery owner John Craven.
Today, this vast open-air art gallery houses about fifteen monumental sculptures that bear the signature of famous contemporary artists. Among them are Peter Klasen, Michel Guino, Albert Féraud and Ung No Lee. To this are added monumental sand sculptures, ephemeral works that take shape on the waterfront.

And recently, it is now possible to play sports while visiting a museum in Barcarès! The Arts Alley has started fitness, with the installation of several sports areas throughout the walk.
