The Camptainer is a self equipped accomodation between camping and a cottage, perfect for couples, family or friends or by yourself for an escapade trip.
You will stay at the heart of the farm, in our previous vegetable garden next to the chicken house and to our house and the table d'hôte (on reservation only ).
Besides being surounded by nature, you will be able to discover back to basics and farming lifestyle, or just enjoy being in nature, in the middle of bambous virieux valley.

Staying at La Petite Ferme, you will be able to join us for our everyday routine, if you would like to, or no if you want your stay to be more like a retreat, just ask not to be disturbed. We respect our hosts tranquility.

During your stay you can have a walk in the valley, discover the farm, feed the animals, like our cow Grofie and try to get the prefect selfie 🐂📷, you can have a nap in the hammock if weather is sweet.
Maybe have a hot shower while the sun sets with the river's water🚿, near the duck's pond 🦆before getting your dinner ready 🍻🥘 (dinner can be organised for an extra)

Have you ever use a compost toilet? You will find them just behind your place. ( we also have traditional toilets at the farmhouse, closed at night ).

In the morning you are pleased to join Yvan to feed the chickens 🐓 and fetch your fresh eggs 🥚for your breakfast 🍳, that will be served to you at The Camptainer at 7.30am.

May you meet Pom and Jiny, the ladies of the farm, that works with us since the begining of this unique adventure, as well as Pradeep the man of the sheilds.

Have you taken time to find a peacefull place to medidate and maybe write your "memoire", and how you feel? Our favorite place is near the firecamp🔥 in the afternoon, from where we can see the wooden cross, and the scenic view of the mountain, that brings peacefull wave to the soul.
We really hope that you will be able to disconnect here on the farm and have a lovely and authentic stay.

Washing machine can be done for extra. ( depending of weather).

The farm is an off grid place and we work to be sustainable, while growing our food with ethics and organic way, following the most that we can, the principles of permaculture

Nous sommes Olivier et Anaïs,
Nous habitons et travaillons sur place à La Petite Ferme en permaculture, au sud est de l'île Maurice.
Le container converti en chambre, idéal pour les groupes, se trouve a coté de notre maison mais reste cependant independant.
Nous veillons à l'intimité de nos hôtes, mais restons disponibles en cas de besoin.
