Asuka no yado is a Vacation Rental located in the center of Asuka Village, Takaichi County, Nara Prefecture.

This is a small house with a small garden and porch.
The building has been fully renovated.
There is a mini kitchen, a bathroom with a bathtub, and a clean toilet.
Please lay out futon and sleep at night.

It’s reserved exclusively for one group per day.
With partner, family, group. Of course, solo guests are also welcome.

It is a small renovated house.
The layout is 2K, and the living room and bedroom are separated by fusuma (sliding doors) from a 12-tatami-mat Japanese-style room.

The entrance has a wide space for taking off and putting on footwear comfortably.
Suitcases, baby strollers, bicycles, etc. can also be placed here.

Five sets of mattresses, futons, and pillows are provided.

One IH cooktop is installed.
Equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster.

There is a low table. Zabuton are also available for the number of people.

[Bath room]
Hot water heating and reheating are fully automatic at the touch of a button.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap are provided.
A hair dryer is available by the washbasin.
All towels at the inn are made from Senshu towels.

[About the effects of wind and vibration]
Since our inn is an old wooden house, the wooden doors and windows in the entrance area may make noise due to wind and vibration.

[About the insects]
The inn is located in a rich natural environment. Although we take precautions against insects, spiders, geckos, and other insects may enter the rooms. Please be aware of this.

[Bicycle rental]
One free rental bicycle is available. Please feel free to inquire.
Bicycle helmets are not provided.

Asuka Village is currently hosting various sporting events, such as "the Asuka Half Marathon" in mid-March in the spring and "Ride Around in Nara" bicycle tour throughout Nara Prefecture in the fall.
Please use "Asuka no yado" as your base for marathons, road biking, hiking, and more!
You can sleep in a private detached room with a bath where you can stretch out your legs and relax.
You can safely leave your road bike or other bicycles at the spacious entrance.

Reservations are "required" for dinner at restaurants!
If you wish to have dinner at a restaurant in Asuka Village, please be sure to inquire in advance whether the restaurant is open for dinner and make a reservation.
Inquiries made on the day of the event may be difficult to accommodate, so it is recommended to make reservations as early as possible.

In Asuka Village, most stores close after 5:00 p.m. and bus service is extremely limited or nonexistent.
Restaurants in particular will close at the end of the lunch hour and at 5:00 p.m.

In the neighboring city of Kashihara, there are many restaurants that stay open until late at night, but public transportation in Asuka Village almost never operates after 6:00 p.m.
There is little lighting in the village, and it is very dangerous to ride a bicycle after sunset.
If you do not have your own car, please take a cab.

Sightseeing spots within a 15-minute walk from Asuka no yado and the time it takes to get there on foot.
