Your room at Colo-i-Suva Rainforest Eco Resort, Nestled in a superb Rainforest setting - your hotel is a real escape from the noise of the city is approximately 15kms from the airport and 9kms from Suva. Trips to town are easy, either by taxi or local bus ( the bus stops right outside our door), all in an unspoiled rainforest setting brimming with Fiji birdlife fully at ease in its natural habitat.

A clean and comfortable room close to shared washroom facilities, our swimming pool and the main resort complex with its lakeside lounge, restaurant and bar.

Bird Watching
Situated on the edge of rainforest, just 20 minutes from the capital city of Suva from Suva’s international airport, the Rainforest Eco Resort is ideally situated for seeing the Fiji’s unique endemic birds. All but 2 of Viti Levu’s endemic birds are found within a few kms of our resort.

Colo-I-Suva Forest Park
Colo-i-Suva (pronounced tholo-ee-soo-va) is a 2.5-sq-km oasis of lush rainforest, teeming with tropical plants and vivid and melodic bird life. The 6.5km of walking trails navigate clear natural pools and gorgeous vistas. Sitting at an altitude of 120m to 180m, it’s a cool and peaceful respite from Suva’s urban hubbub.

Admission fee: $5.00
A copy of Bird Watching at Colo-i-Suva is available for purchase and a map of the Forest Park is available at reception.

Our Resort has 12 different room types across 22 rooms, ranging from Family Bure options, through to Studio rooms and Budget room options. We have a small 25 pax Conference room and 3 function venues for small groups, Poolside bar, Varandah bar and Gazebo ( we sometimes hire our the Restaurant balcony that host about 20people) .

Front Office Reception is open from 7:00am to 9:00pm ( Public Holidays 8:00am to 8:00pm)

Check In time is 2:00pm.

If your room is available prior to 2:00pm you are welcome to occupy this room.

Check Out time is 10:00am.

Should you wish to extend your stay, please contact reception in advance, late checkouts are subject to availability and may incur a charge.

After Hours Check Out
Please inform reception the night before your scheduled check-out if you plan to depart Colo-i-Suva Rainforest Eco Lodge while reception is not open. The night porter will have your key deposit refund ready for you - please hand your room keys to the night porter who will open the gates for you. If you have not notified us that you plan to depart before reception is open, your key deposit will not be available.
