A lovely spacious area in basement with attractive bedroom and private bathroom. One bedroom basement apartment on a quiet street, pretty house and garden. Very safe established residential area with nearby public swimming pool and jogging/bike paths. Excellent public transit nearby. Free on-street parking on a cul-de-sac. Near Mount Royal University, with easy access to city center and University of Calgary.

Spacious one-bedroom suite in one of the nicest residential areas of Calgary. There is a public swimming pool, par-3 golf course, and jogging/bike paths nearby. It is near Mount Royal University, with easy access via public transit or car to University of Calgary or the city center.
Free on-street parking on a quiet cul-de-sac.
The bedroom has a queen-sized bed, and a desk for work. There is wi-fi throughout the apartment.
The private bathroom is down the hall from the bedroom, and has a nice shower with lots of hot water.
The living room area has 2 comfortable couches and a large-screen Roku TV so that you can catch up on all the news and your favourite shows. You can plug your laptop into the TV via the provided HDMI cable.
The kitchenette has a microwave, toaster oven, bar fridge and coffee maker so guests may make their own simple meals. The kitchenette has all dishes, utensils and basic supplies like coffee & creamer, and salt& pepper.
Guests may use the laundry facilities without charge.
The owners live upstairs and will be available 24/7 as necessary. They have a small friendly dog greeter who loves guests. The dog is not allowed to go downstairs.
The house has bi-level design. Entrance to the apartment is through the front door, then immediately down the stairs to the basement.
Guests also have their own patio that is a wonderful sunny place for morning coffee in the summer. A large tree provides shade in the afternoon.

Entry to the apartment is through the front entrance of the house. Stairs leading to the basement are in the foyer. The owners share the front entrance and foyer with guests.
Guests will have full access to all the rooms in the basement. This includes the bedroom, living area (including kitchenette), bathroom and laundry room. The owners may need to access the laundry room during your stay, but otherwise the entire space is yours.
Guests also have their own patio for their enjoyment in the summer.

Our home is in the neighbourhood of North Glenmore Park. This is a single-family neighbourhood first established 60 years ago when it was considered suburbia but is now a much-in-demand inner-city community. Our home is a 3-bedroom bungalow with full developed basement that we are now making available through airbnb. It is located on a quiet cul-de-sac.
The Glenmore Athletic Park is just a couple of blocks away from our home. The Glenmore swimming pool, Lakeview Par-3 Golf Course, outdoor and indoor tennis courts, and track-and-field facilities are part of this complex. Jogging and bike trails are also nearby and provide access to virtually the entire city.
There is excellent public transit service. Mount Royal University is nearby. It is easy and straightforward to get to the city center or University of Calgary, either by car or by public bus.
Finally, 2 convenience stores are within easy walking distance. Also 2 liquor stores, a Dutch specialty restaurant, and a private fitness center.

Hablamos Espanol. Mike and I built our house in a beautiful development about 200 meters above sea level in a town about one hour West of Limon, the main port of San Jose. Our favorite little beach is just 1 hour away. We have a beautiful view of banana plantations and the ocean in the distance. We are surrounded by the natural world and sometimes complain about our noisy birds and Congo monkeys but not too much. Guests sleep in a separate house so it is very private here. Allthough Mike retains his business in Canada, we are somewhat retired. I am a musician and teacher. I taught violin and viola for thirty years in Canada. We have traveled the world and have lived in different countries such as the Philippines and Peru. Carmen speaks Spanish fluently and conversational French and Italian. She is working on learning German. Lots of nice attractions at AmampolaBnB. Beautiful twin waterfalls, a community pool and club house, rural roads for good walks.
