"The Garden" is located near the famous shillong golf course, in a quiet little locality away from the hustle and bustle of the city, yet close enough to visit. Set amidst pine trees, fresh air and nature with high ceilings, cozy, warm & homely set up. Good for couples, backpackers, business travellers, and families (with kids). It has 2 beautiful bedrooms and a huge common living/dining area which opens up to a balcony. Rooms with attached baths and a fireplace that you can enjoy.

The Garden is located near the famous golf course of Shillong. A building constructed as a home for a family of a mother and 3 children. The space has gone through many stages of modification and renovation to arrive at its own distinctive character. Homely, warm, casual, spacious and superbly located, The Garden is hosted by a mother (Mei) and daughter which brings a great combination of authenticity and global exposure. Aim at providing a wholesome experience with a neatly designed place to stay for your utmost comfort. Though we do not have a full time restaurant, breakfast is included with your rooms and we provide the options of food menu to order in. Our endeavour to not get commercialised in this fast growing town of Shillong, keeping some of the quaint, cozy and warm aspects of the culture.
Space comprises of 2 bedrooms – 1st bedroom with a king size bed and an attached bathroom - well tiled and equipped with modern sanitary ware. The room offers a serene view of the surrounding greenery. The 2nd bedroom is equipped with a comfy king size bed and a bathroom adjacent to it. For you to keep your belongings with ease, we have placed a wooden wardrobe in each room. A room-heater is available on a chargeable basis. The place also offers a common/living area with comfortable sofa, and opens up to a balcony to unwind. There is also a 6 seater dining area where breakfast will be served and can be used for a relaxed meal during the day. We provide all essentials from toiletries to kitchenware including microwave and hot kettle. Cleanliness is our top most priority and the house is the direct reflection of the same.

Born into this beautiful hill station called shillong, I am part of a very warm family of 5 siblings. Most part of my early life, I had spend in this city which embedded the culture, warmth and values in my life. For more than a decade I have been fortunate to travel around the world as part of my profession in a leading airline company - advocating the highest standards of customer services and safety. As I relish all the experiences I have had, something brings me back to the roots of where all started - one of the most beautiful places in the world (my hometown Shillong). I decided to initiate an avenue that will help me share the same experiences with you, which I was fortunate enough to gain during my early years. The most important person in my life - my mom (Mei), lives in this beautiful property I call home, while all her children are living across different destinations . She enjoys spending time gardening, farming and offering a helping hand to anyone that is in need. Mei and I would like to extend a warm welcome to our beautiful home during your adventure here in shillong and hope you take some piece of this beautiful state to cherish. I enjoy reading, travelling, home decor and music, so expect components of this in our venue
