2nd floor Beachfront condo 10 miles to Historic District Downtown , 2 blocks walk to 12 restaurants and pubs. SMALL BR w queen, and entry/room that closes off privately with 2 mason bunkbeds. LR has queen sleeper. Close to shops/nightlife without the noise. 2X the space of a hotel room-500sf for same price. Come visit Charleston!

Come have a fun and relaxing vacation at our beachfront little get-away on the Isle of Palms, Charleston, SC!! Wake up in an oceanfront condominium on one of South Carolina's most beautiful beaches. Beautiful sunrise and an awesome sunset, dolphins out front in the surf. You can view all of this while keeping an eye on the (older) kids in the pool, all from the comfort of the living room, kitchen, or balcony.
*November to March "Snowbird" rentals have hugely reduced monthly rates, and no tax for 90+ days.

Located in the heart of Isle of Palms, this cozy condo is perfectly positioned. You are just steps from the beach and in 2 blocks walking distance to the island's best restaurants, shops, and park just enough distance to Not have the noise factor from the nightlife. This condominium complex claims the only pier on the Front Beach strand, private for your fishing or relaxation enjoyment. 4 adults max. 2 adults may have up to 3 children. The condo is 500 sq ft, so The BR is Small, with just enough space for queen bed (definitely a queen-not double- it is 60x80) and 2 small side tables, plus dresser and closet.

IOP, Isle of Palms, is a barrier island suburb of Charleston. You are only ten miles from the Historic District of Downtown Charleston, where you can shop at the Old Market. Take in the charm of this beautiful and historic town and learn more about Charleston on a horse-drawn carriage ride, or tour Charleston Bay and Fort Sumter by boat. South Carolina Aquarium, world class restaurants and shopping, live theater, live music, museums, and so much more.
*These Sea Cabincondos are a 3 1/2 star (No elevator, no on-site concierge or front desk, no on-site restuarant/pub (just Very close by) built in 1985 resort in a 5 star location that allows for no expansion. Clean, well stocked for what you need, and mostly true to description and a good host are what makes a Sea Cabin experience 5 star reviews. Still, All condominiums and sea cabins are not in the same condition! Some of the condominiums and sea cabins have not been updated in 30 years. and most aren't as allergy-friendly as our unit. Old ceiling and walls have all been replaced with smooth, mold-free sheetrock in 2005, as well as cabinets; all flooring replaced 2018. It is decorated in a beach/tropical motif, Not Mid-Century, Modern, Industrial and/or minimalist.
It is situated on the second floor of the center "B" building, at one end, where your bedroom shares no neighboring wall or noise. The balcony affords unobstructed panoramic ocean views of the ocean. As we are in the middle bldg facing straight out (the 2 others angle in), this view is also shared from LR and kitchen. There are no elevators. The first floor has limited view, and our 2nd floor view is as great as 3rd without so much climbing every time you need to grab 1 more thing. The sunset is very nice over the entrance/ back porch area. Being an end unit gives us a bit more privacy, larger balcony and a small space as back porch which the others don't have.
PRIVACY! This condo also offers individual privacy. The hall with built-in bunk beds closes off to be its own private room for smaller guests with a nightlight and air/white noise machine available. The adults can then go back and forth from balcony/LR/kitchen to BR thru the separate bathroom door without waking the kids. The sleeper sofa adds extra sleeping as needed, and is super comfy with back pillows off as an overlarge twin if just 1 person uses it to sleep. 14% SC Accommodations tax is included in your quote.
4 adults max. 5 max adult/children mix. 1 Parking pass will be waiting for you inside, and must be left on counter at check-out. A 2nd can only be an option after Labor Day - March.

We keep a few beach chairs & mats, a small/med cooler, and a some beach toys for guests to use, and also have info for a service that will set you up with wood and canvas loungers and umbrellas each morning, fora a fee.
You are are 2 blocks from the Ben and Jerry's, Acme Lowcountry Kitchen, The Raw Bar, Papi's Taqueria, Luke n' Ollie's Pizzeria, The Refuge, The Dinghy, Coda del Pesce, Long Island Cafe, Coconut Joe's Rooftop bar, and more great restaurants & pubs. The world famous Windjammer beach bar offers up nightly entertainment, and Mainland Container Kitchen & Bar in Mt. Pleasant has great atmosphere, food, and mingling- check their site for live music. While enjoying the Island Life, you can go swimming, body surfing, play volleyball, dine at oceanfront restaurants, bike the beaches, jog, cruise the Intracoastal Waterway, sail, surf, windsurf, take in some live music, shop the boutiques. Check out the scuba diving or go deep sea fishing. Relax at a spa or try horseback riding. Kayak, parasail, water-ski, fish, go "Crabin or Shrimpin," walk the beach for shells, take a sunset cruise, charter a small boat, explore uninhabited islands, play some of the South's finest golf courses.
1 mile away, Mount Pleasant Towne Centre is an upscale shopping experience in classic southern style. With over 65 national and local tenants, including: Banana Republic, Gap, Bath & Body Works, Caché, Men's Wearhouse and Old Navy, as well as the regions only J.Jill, Coldwater Creek and Francesca's. Sample exquisite home-made candy at Sweet Julep's Candy & Gifts, or dine in style at Burton's Grill, Longhorn Steakhouse, TGI Friday's, Atlanta Bread Company, Five Guys Burgers and Fries, P.F. Chang's, Grimaldis Pizzeria, Zoes Kitchen, Teavana, TCBY, Qdoba- there is sure to be a culinary diversion to suit your palette. After dinner, stroll the lush, tree-lined streets or relax at the luxurious Palmetto Grande 16-screen theatre. Shem Creek's famous shrimp boats and restaurants are 10 minutes away, and the Yorktown WWII destroyer and several historical plantations are all within easy driving distance.
There are security personnel on site to ensure safety, as well as parking, beach, pool, and pier access privileges. Bikes, chairs, and beach umbrella rentals are available nearby. Shopping, dining, nightly entertainment and post office are a very short walk.
Amenities: central air/heat, cable TV in LR and BR, CD player, DVD player, hair dryer, full kitchen (including spice selection and plenty of cookware), microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator, coffee maker and filters, linens included. Washer and dryer (coin operated on premises), pool, no smoking, NO PETs, private chef service avail. Activities (on site or nearby): Tennis courts and pool on site, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, fishing pier, shopping, restaurants, live theater, cinemas, museums, plantations ,sightseeing, swimming, snorkeling/diving, boating, sailing, surfing, windsurfing, jet skiing, shelling.

Please note- We provide Start-up paper goods, soaps, etc, plus spices and cooking extras. Please plan to pick up more if needed. Also, before departure, please clean dishes (leave running in dishwasher ), and leave wet towels in bathtub. We provide 5 bath towels, 5 washcloths, 2-3 hand towels, bath mat, 2 kitchen towels, and will always have some linens that get suntan oil/accelorator/ shaving nick stained after 1st/2nd use, but buy 6+ new sets a year, and cannot do new ones every stay. Some guests prefer to bring their own for maximum comfort. Extras are also available for rent from our cleaning service, or several independent ones in the area.

There is 1 small locked owner closet, and the rest of the condo is yours, as well as access to pool, pier, and private beach boardwalk.

We provide bath towels, washcloths, hand towel, bath mats, and kitchen towel. Extras are also available for rent from our cleaning service, or several independant ones in the area.

It is standard practice to have guests empty trash, as they may have stinky stuff (diapers, seafood shells...) which permeates the place when not cleaned for hours, or occasionally the next day.

My family & I have been very blessed, grew up here, moved around in our 20's, then settled back home - happy to live in one of the world's most amazing cities. We hope/try to share the feeling. We have often forgone a "better deal" to do the "right thing". In line with our beliefs, we attempt to be thoughtful and responsive hosts. We also live 1 mile from our townhome and 6 miles from our 2 beachfront homes, which helps a ton :) We try to be very upfront that our places are not Mid-century Modern, Industrial, stainless steel/ granite, or minimalist.
