Double Room in the country side of San Gimignano, at 5 minutes by car from town center. The room is inside Montegonfoli Farm, a farm of the 17th century made of some building, a sort of a "micro town", sourrounded by property olive trees (about 1000), vineyards, private forest with a small river. The room has a large Queen Size double bed, a large bathroom with bidet and shower, and a nice area outside. Some services like pool, barbecue area and laundry are shared.

The Montegonfoli Farmhouse is placed on top of an hill with an amazing view on San Giminano and on Tuscany hills. The farmouse is made of some ancient buildings of the Seventeen century, and it's featured by about 1000 olive trees, 2.6ha of vineyard (Vernaccia di San Gimignano, Chianti Colli Senesi, both DOCG), 5ha of "fields of gold" and 9ha of amazing forest featured by a small river for "in house" nice excursions and light trekking activities. The town of San Gimignano is very close, and Siena and Florence can be reached very quickly, as well as all the other attractions of Tuscany. Roma city center (Saint Peter church) is 2,5h from Montegonfoli. "Oleandro" room is on the ground floor and can host up to 2 people. It includes a large bathroom with shower and a terrace with amazing views shared with the next room "Margherita". Each room has there a table and two stairs. This bedroom has a single large Queen Size 160x200cm bed. This room has no kitchen, just a silent, mid size fridge, to store food and drinks. If you may need to warm any food, there is a microwave oven in the social area, usually available from 8 A.M. to 10.00 P.M. Inside there is a small table/desk for two, and outdoors another table for four with two chairs.

Our neighbours, 50m far from us, have a big horse riding school and each hour start an horse ride into the wonderful surrondings. They have a "social and typical" restaurant too, where all the guests share the same tables and the food is very good. Other neighbours offer other interesting activities, and the same the villages and towns in our surroundings. in few hundred of meters there are several wine makers, every one making wine with its own features, and lots of interesting things to see and taste, like "Chianina" cows and "Cinta Senese" pigs.

thank you for reading my profile and considering to spend some of your time with me or my team in Montegonfoli :-) I'm a very social person, probably because I was born in the south of ltaly. I love to meet new people and new cultures and being an host allows me to discover several things and places while being in Italy. My daily job is into high tech, I'm one of the fathers of the world's most important video editing software ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) and I'm editor for the leading italian high tech magazine ( (Website hidden by Airbnb) At the same time I love old Italian lifestile, nature, countryside and San Gimignano, as well as sea and the other places where I grew up (Naples and Amalfi Coast). I love the good and healty food, as well as cooking it; I make my own bread, pizza and cookies using my self made natural yeast. I make olives (under salt or brine), dried figs, capers, egg plants and special liquors (just the ones that you can't find in a shop, but sorry, they are not for sale). If you're lucky, you could taste my famous "Pizza alle cipolle caramellate", "charamelized onions" :-)
My current fitness program consists in growing up 2 nice babies and 20Km per day by bicicle. I have several hobbies, probably too many, including "urban agricolture" of my time to make vegetables for me and my babies without using any chemicals.
I love photography and I made almost all the pictures of all the listings using a very old bridge camera; poor low light performances but great tele and macro.
My life motto is "BENISSIMO" and I love the people who smile :-), and I'm very happy to give and return as much smiles as possible :-)
