The newly renovated and newly listed Lauradale Accommodation offers a unique opportunity to experience life in the country while just minutes away from the shopping malls, tourist attractions and wine farms that made the historic Stellenbosch so famous. Ideal getaway and holiday destination for couples of all ages who prefers self-catering in comfort and style.
Enjoy a sundowner and barbeque on your own veranda overlooking the Stellenbosch hills and vineyards or have a sunset barbeque on your private veranda. A full farmhouse breakfast in the Lauradale House on the property is included in the rates. Eco-pool or chlorinated pool with its stunning views in summer or curl up on the couch or in bed in front of the double-up fireplace in winter.
All three One-bedroom apartments (Lilly, Aloe and Protea) have an open plan fully equipped kitchen, dining and living area. DSTV, Double-up fireplace, Air-conditioning, King Size bed, En-suite Shower room with rain shower and hand shower. Linen, towels, swimming towels and amenities included.
Laundry services at and additional cost is available from Monday until Saturday.
Apart from the three one-bedroom apartments, Lauradale also have the Three- bedroom Lavender Apartments, Two Double En-Suite Rooms with private entrances, the Two-bedroom Rose Cottage and the One-bedroom Jasmine Cottage available for guests. A great destination for family reunions, corporate and social gatherings or small events where everybody has their own space but still share the same property and public areas.
Although still in the process of being developed, this property promises to become a sought-after tourist destination for couples, groups and families.

The Two Hectare Property have two swimming pools and gardens and all the public spaces are open to guests. The Lauradale House serves as the Reception area and Breakfast room for the whole property.

SWIMMING POOLS
1. Please do not leave clothes, swimming towels, glasses, bottles or trash at the pools.
2. Please close umbrellas if it gets windy.
3. The swimming pools are used at own risk.

WATER AND ELECTRICITY
1. Please be considerate of the water restrictions due to the current drought and use water sparingly.
2. Please switch off all lights, television and air-conditioners in the units when you are not in your unit.
3. Please do not remove the extra plugs and adapters from the rooms.

LAUNDRY
1. Laundry facilities are available at an additional cost. Please check the Laundry List in your room for the availability and rates of this service.
2. We do have a shared washing line for the Apartments and Lavender House and one at each cottage. Please do not hang washing outside on the verandas.

SAFETY
1. There is a fire extinguisher and fire blanket in each apartment.
2. The emergency numbers are in the handbook in the unit.
3. Please read the instruction manuals of the electronic equipment prior to use.
4. There is a safe in each unit. Please read the instructions in the guest manual before using the safe and remember your code.

SECURITY
Although Lauradale did not have any break-ins since the property was bought in 2015, we recommend that you do the following:
1. Please lock your car, doors and windows at night and switch on the alarm when you are not in the apartment.
2. Do not have your wallet, valuables and electronic equipment lying around on the verandas or in your car.
3. We do have an alarm system and armed response on the property. Press the Red Panic Button on the remote only in case of emergencies.
4. Lauradale will not take any responsibility for any lost or stolen items that was not locked away.

KEYS AND REMOTES
1. Each unit has a set of keys and a remote. Please return the keys and remote to reception before leaving. R500 cash penalty for lost keys and remotes.
2. The buttons on the remote is to activate/deactivate the alarm (BLUE BUTTON), panic signal (RED BUTTON), and to open and close the gate (GREEN BUTTON).
3. Please ensure that the gate is closed after entering or exiting the property.

SHUTTLE SERVICE
1. Please do not drink and drive. A Shuttle service can be arranged to drop you off and pick you up at an additional cost.
2. Do not walk to town or the farms in the area.

TIPS
1. Our staff work very hard to make your stay as wonderful and as comfortable as possible and they are eternally grateful for the tips they receive. A tip box is located at the Reception Desk. The tips are shared amongst the housekeeping staff, maintenance staff and the gardeners who all work together as a team.
2. Please do not give individual staff members money or gifts without clearing it with management first.

1. WIFI is available free of charge
2. The WIFI Code is in the Guest Manual in your unit.

WHERE TO EAT
1. Breakfast will be served between 8:00 and 10:00 in the morning in the Lauradale House.
2. A cold buffet of muesli, yogurt, fruit salad, fruit juice, bread and croissants and cold meats as well as a warm served breakfast of bacon, eggs, beef sausage, tomatoes, mushrooms and coffee included in the rates
3. Please bring your own spices, tea, coffee, sugar, milk, drinks and food.
4. Please book all your restaurants well in advance and confirm your reservations prior to arrival.

Lauradale is situated on the Bonniemile Road which runs parallel to the M12. Farms and guest houses in the area include Neethlingshof, Overgaauw, Skilpadvlei, Aluva, Azara and many more. The area is well known for its good wine and stunning views. We are approximately 10 minutes from the centre of Stellenbosch and 20 minutes from Somerset West with a BP Petrol Garage just down the road. Although so close to these towns, the neighbourhood is quiet and typical of the Agri-tourism sector with guest houses and restaurants amongst the wine farms and vineyards.
