Located at start line of Cooper River Brodge Run April 6. (4 day min) Just steps away from Shem Creek and the best Seafood restaurants and activites the area has to offer! Shem Creek Park and boat landing offers excellent fishing, water sports, boat access and dolphin watching!

The Private Entrance space itself is not big, it's like a hotel room suite, but it has many advantages. It is on ground floor with parking right in front of the private entrance, easy in and out access where parking is at a minimum and hard to find! The studio is one of three private accommodations attached but completely separate to main house where live w my pup Zsazsa. There's a comfy queen size bed, table w/two chairs, refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker, ice maker, along with wifi, movie channels, and a washer dryer. Enjoy the shaded patio area, outside bar and more... There are laminate hardwood floors, crown molding, plenty of light and attention to details such as toiletries, make up remover cloths, fluffy towels and a great vanity mirror. Black out curtains & an outside security cameras. There are two bikes you may use on a first come first serve basis. . A waiver must be signed for bikes & You are responsible for bikes if stolen. Locks provided. There are also beach chairs out back you may use to take to the beach. One beach towel per person provided.
You must book a Saturday when you book a Friday, I cannot split those two days into separate reservations please. But ask if i have an opening id love to host u.

Studio has is own private keyless entry code. The outside pergola with couch area, tables and chairs, charcoal grill, gas grill, bicycles, beach chairs, front yard with are common areas. Parking on Live Oak Drive sidestreet in front of unit facing the stop sign.

I have control of the ac/heat under lock. I keep it at 70 degrees cool and 65 heat. This seems to be the best settings to please everyone. If you are not comfortable please contact me and I will do what I can to adjust the settings.

This apartment is attached but is separate from the three-bedroom home next door. This is where I reside with my little pup Zsazsa.
The house is on a crawlspace, the apartment was added years ago and is on the ground level with 2 large wicker chairs and private sitting area.

If you book a Friday/Saturday you must take both days. But please ask and I may make a exception.

All approved dogs cats or any animal will require an additional $100 deposit which is used as an additional cleaning fee or for damage if needed. This fee is used to take extra time to clean hair, sanitize to put the studio back into the state of being a non dog friendly studio rental for upcoming guests who may be sensitive to animal dander hair and fleas.

There is a $100 fee for unannounced and unverified overnight guests. Please tell me the correct total amount of expected overnight guests - failure to do so will result in a charge. This is for the safety of you and the entire propery.

This fabulous Shem Creek Location is a local favorite hot spot close to beach and downtown.
I love my neighborhood because everything is within walking distance. It's a casual and fun place with a friendly atmosphere.. This location puts you in the center of everything Shem Creek has to offer at a reasonable price to rent. The location also offers free parking which it very scarce in this popular area. I hope you will choose to visit !! Please let me know the number of vehicles you will have. Thank you!!

What to do:
Walk or bike to the all the gorgeous waterfront restaurants, bars, coffee shops and Shem Creek park with views of Downtown Charleston. The boat landing is steps away so bring your boat for an extra fee. Fishing, paddle boarding, kayaks, art lessons, hair and nail salons, and shopping are all within walking distance. Live entertainment and night life scene available at a variety of places. Walk to Reds, Tavern and Table, Waters Edge, The Shelter and Arts Bar & Grill, the marina and Shem Creek Park to name a few. Red Drum has a fabulous Brunch with bottomless champagne for $14 with your meal on Sunday as well as Tavern and Table. An absolute treasure is Pages Okra Grill across the street that opens at 6am for breakfast and the most amazing country southern family style dishes in the Lowcountry at reasonable prices. It's always packed and is a local favorite. If you dont want to wait for a table bring the moniter to the house & wait instead if in a line. It works!! You will be called when table ready. Also, if you want something less crowed Vintage Cafe coffe shop is around the corner and Vicious Biscuit just opened about a 1/2 mile down on Coleman blvd towards Charleston.

A sunset catamaran cruise in season leaving out of Shem Creek for spectacular views of Charleston, the bridge and the most incredible sunsets you've ever seen. Don't be surprised if you see many dolphins swim up and maybe a manatee. For beautiful shops and an old fashioned soda shop pharmacy check out Pitt Street Pharmacy in Old Village and the park where you can fish, crab, bike, picnic and see a 360% view of Isle of Palms, Sullivan's Island, Ravenel Bridge and Mt Pleasant waterways. Historic Charleston is 10 mins away with exciting tours, horse and buggy rides, Art galleries, delicious seafood and nightlife. Uber is reasonably priced and a good choice or a rick-Shaw is fun once you get downtown to get around town if you get tired of walking. Patriots Point is 10 mins away also and you can take the water ferry to Charleston and back for a nominal fee. ( please excuse the road construction on Coleman blvd they are widening it and its a bumpy & aggravating but they are in the process of making phase 3 of the Shem Creek Park which is a must see during your stay!

Hi! My name is Lori and I own and manage Shem Creek Place. I live on site with my little dog Zsazsa and I am also a part time hair Designer/Colorist. I am originally from Western Pa. I came to the area first on a vacation and once I put my feet in the sand I knew i would make the Charleston area my home. I moved here in 1980 first to Isle of Palms to raise my daughter, Carly, now 29 and then In 2012 moved to the Mt Pleasant location where I live and have 2 studio apts and 1 one bedroom apt avail for short and sometime long term rental through Airbnb or personal friends. I love living in Mt Pleasant in the Old Village area. It is centrally located to the beaches and Historic Charleston. The Shem Creek area is one of the most serene and beautiful locations of all the Charleston area. Shem Creek Place is an excellent choice if you like to walk to Waterfront breakfast lunch or dinner. at over 15 different venues. Along with Bars, Coffee shops, shops and the most beautiful sunsets you have ever seen. The numerous parks have water access , views of Charleston and the islands while dolphin and paddle boarders enjoy the waterways amongst the Shrimp Boats and leisure boating enthusiasts. The marina is a block away too. I lived in Mt Pleasant and Isle of Palms area for over 30 years now and am well-versed in the history over that period of time and am knowledgeable to make recommendations for any activity or interest you enjoy! It so convenient to park free in an area where parking is hard to find and walk to the many coffee shops, great seafood restaurants, live entertainment, parks and beautiful Shem Creek with all it has to offer. WE are located 3 miles from Sullivan's Island beach and Fort Moultrie as well as Isle of Palms County Park and Beaches. Historic Charleston is the other direction just a 10 min drive or uber ride, approx 2 miles the Ravenel Bridge to Charleston. The property is divided up into three completely private residences with private entrances and private bathrooms. I live in the main brick house. with the Black door. In the back yard there is a private entrance to my kitchen where i work parttime as a Hair Designer & Colorist. Please book an appt with me if you would like, same phone number. I have 30 years experience. The 3 apts are all unique in their own way. There is the “Pier de Terre” 1 bedroom apt. The Petit International Studio and the The Romantic Shem Creek Nest studio. They all have queen beds and all have an outside area to sit outside your front door. Located on the patio and outside there are lots of different chairs and couches with lights at night for added enjoyment to soak up the sun or relax with a coffee or a glass of wine in the evenings. Theres corn hole to play in the back and in the cool months we build camp fires. You can enjoy the inside and outside both. No hallways or elevators. Only one unit has steps to enter, the other two are ground level with free parking near your door. Theres washer and dryer included in one unit and I have one site for a small fee of 5$. Smoking is allowed outside but courtesy to other guests & distancing & disposing of cigarette butts a must. Look forward to meeting you & sharing this local paradise with you. As far as hobbies go I like to work out and be outside as much as I can. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, we would love to share this local paradise with you.
