Miðás is 3 km away from the main road 1 on road 288. It is the perfect starting point for day trips. Only a 1-hour drive to Reykjavik or to Vík, passing places like Skogar and Seljalandsfoss, Landmannalaugar, Gullfoss waterfall, and Geysir. From Miðás you have the view over Hekla volcano, Eyjafjallajökull, Mýrdalsjökull glacier. In Miðás we offer horseback riding for our guests and also we serve dinner. Please contact us for reservations. After a day of activities, you can relax in our hot tub!

We offer Riding Tours on our Icelandic horses; 1 hour, 2 hours and a whole day riding tour and custom made tours.
We also offer dinner at Miðás but please reserve dinner prior to arrival. Dinner is served between 18:00 and 20:00, however we kindly ask our guests to arrive no later than 19:00 in order to enjoy our dinner buffet. Please contact me for further information.
