We are "Runesu Karuizawa", a private cottage for rent in
Asama Kogen.
We have 9 unique cottages available for accomodation
surrounded by nature.
We accept reservations 365 days open all year round.
A caretaker is stationed at the front office to ensure the
safety and security of our rental villas.
The kitchen in each Runesu Karuizawa cottage is equipped
with basic utensils, dishes, and appliances for cooking standard meals.

■Payment can be made by cash or credit card.
■Please inform the front desk of the BBQ start time upon check-in.
BBQ is available from 4:00 pm. Ending time is until 9:00pm. (Punctuality will be strictly observed.)
■Our staff will be there after 9:00 am the next morning to clean up the barbecue equipment.
*For safety reasons, no barbecue equipment or fire pits may be brought in.

Free parking is available on site, no reservation required.

【About check-in】
Please be sure to contact us if check-in will be after 5:00pm.
*Please understand that this is for the safety management of the wooden cottage surrounded by woods.
【About the bedrooms】
■Please note that the single bedrooms in “An” and “Curl” are closed for 2 to 4 guests; from 5 guests, all bedrooms (3 rooms) will be open.
■The three-bed rooms in the “Suien” are open to the public depending on the number of guests.
■The three-bed room on the first floor of the" Shion-Hoshi" will be opened for a minimum of 11 guests.
■The three-bed rooms at Shion-Niji are available for a minimum of 8 guests.
Bedding may be left in place.
There is no need to remove pillowcases, top sheets, or mattress sheets.
If you have soiled sheets or bedding due to your own negligence, please let us know when you check out.
【About the facility】
■Pets are not allowed.
■There are not many restaurants nearby.
■We have installed a wind shelter on the terrace, but it may snow from mid-December. Please be aware that it is very cold. Please wear warm clothes (knee-hugs and heavy jackets).
■Since there is a possibility of snow from December, please prepare studless tires or chains if you are coming by car.
■Please be sure to separate burnable and non-burnable trash and dispose of it in the designated areas.
■Please wash and organize last-used dishes on the cooktop. You do not need to put them back in storage.
■If you have any problems at the villa, please contact the front desk immediately.
