Welcome to Nuluhon Garden Dormitorio!

Our welcoming space is perfect for groups, couples, families, or retreats. We have eight dorm rooms with shared bathrooms for a friendly atmosphere, along with four private rooms with ensuite bathrooms for added comfort. Enjoy our beautiful garden, ideal for relaxation and gatherings.

Your perfect chill escape, offering a truly unique experience just 12 km from the bustling Kota Kinabalu city and only a short walk to the cultural gem that is Mari Mari Cultural Village. What makes us stand out? We are the only hostel in the area with a natural concept, nestled in the heart of lush greenery, providing a tranquil and immersive environment—while still being so close to the city’s vibrant attractions.

Our cozy wooden hostel is the ideal haven for both backpackers and flashpackers looking for comfort with a hint of adventure. Choose from our four private rooms or eight shared dorms—perfectly suited for all types of travelers. Whether you prefer a mixed dorm or a female-only dorm, we’ve got the perfect option for you. Relax in spacious areas, enjoy vibrant communal spaces, and soak in the stunning views of nature that surround you. All of this, while being just 12 km from Kota Kinabalu town, and only 7 km from Inanam, where you’ll find a variety of restaurants, cafes, spas, massage centers, bars, and more.

What makes us truly unique is our natural, peaceful atmosphere—perfect for unwinding and reconnecting with nature. Enjoy the soothing sounds of insects flirting with each other at night while hanging out in our spacious common area, surrounded by fellow travelers from all over the world. Don’t forget to check out our one-of-a-kind water rock pool, a fantastic spot to relax and cool off!

1. Cancellation Policy: Let us know at least 1 day before your arrival to avoid a charge for the first night.
2. Check-in: Earliest at 11:00 AM, latest at 12:00 AM.
3. Check-out: Latest at 03:00 PM.
4. Payment: Cash only upon arrival.
5. Breakfast: Included.
6. No Smoking: Smoking is allowed only in designated outdoor areas.
7. Activities: Explore local culture with our tour packages, or rent cars and scooters right here!

P/S: Nuluhon is a term used by the Kadazan Dusun ethnic group, meaning “hill.” Therefore, Nuluhon Garden Dormitorio translates to “Hill Garden Hostel” or “Hostel at the Hill Garden,” The three different languages reflect our inclusivity, welcoming everyone, both locals and visitors from all over the world.
