We are very close to the major tourist attractions in the area but it is one of the very few places where you wake up and go to sleep with the sound of the nature. There is no trafic noice.

I am the manager of Clay Hut Village. I have been a national guide for more than 30 years but after all this travelling I have decided to settle down at what I think is one of the most beautiful regions of Sri Lanka. Polonnaruwa has an ancient history and a beautiful nature. There is a nice local atmosphere and people still bathe in the river. You can rent abicycle for 3 $ a day or a motorcycle for 10 $ a day and you can easily explore on your own. If you have questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
