Joseph Burrus, Ocracoke’s lighthouse keeper for 16 years. The house is named for Capt. Joe’s son, Oscar. Colington Creek Inn is located in the heart of the Outer Banks of NC! Each of our 5 guest rooms have picturesque waterviews & sunporch for relaxing! Atlantic Ocean, Wright Brothers Memorial, Airport, great dining and sightseeing only minutes away. The CANAL ROOM has a king bed (able to convert to 2 twins!), large private bath, refrigerator & sleeps 2 adults. Morning coffee/tea served daily in the shared dining room. TV room downstairs, another shared space, to catch up on your current events!

Guests will have access to private pool, deck, private outdoor shower with toilet, laundry room, Kitchen/Dining area for self-prepared meals --storage in garage. Easy walk to the beach in 10 minutes or drive in 2 minutes & park in community parking right at beach access.

Our home is over 100 years old located on a creek in the heart of Hatteras Village. Several shops, restaurants, and the beach are within walking and biking distance. You can even kayak or paddle board to some of the shops and restaurants or just paddle out to the Pamlico Sound. Wake up, have some coffee on the back deck overlooking the creek, and venture out for a day at the beach. If you are looking for a quiet place to get away, relax, and still feel right at home, this is your place.

The Cypress Moon Inn is on the Shore of The Albemarle Sound. The Guest Rooms are Waterfront with a spectacular view to the West over the water. We serve a Continental Breakfast and our guests may use our bicycles,kayaks, paddleboard and beach equipment. We are in a natural quiet safe setting with no immediate neighbors. The Inn is of quality construction and with substantial furnishings. The Inn is 1.5 miles from the beach. We are non smoking. We cannot accept young children or pets.

This listing is a 2 bedroom bungalow, with a shared bath in between, all detached from the main house, with a lovely covered deck common area that features an outside fireplace. The rooms are all natural bead-board finished and have reclaimed pine wood floors. We stock the rooms with locally made soaps & Starbucks coffee. It also has a private outside hot/cold shower! We are in walking distance to Olde Town Manteo where you'll find art galleries, restaurants & gift boutiques.
