Hi! We're Robyn and Chen, a young, newly-wed couple full of life and energy. This listing with a private entrance helps us pay for our first home! Just four quiet blocks to the Washougal River and over 16 miles of gorgeous PNW trails. We both work from home so we have the best fiber internet available. We're pretty quiet except when we are in the attached stained glass studio or laughing together. We welcome everyone, LGBTQ, traveling nurses, or anyone who wants to explore the Portland area.

Mary and I love hosting people who appreciate a comfortable experience and beautiful space. Our Private Suite is located in an idyllic setting central to all the activities, great food and nature that the greater Portland area is known for, but without the "junk" that comes with being in the city. Short drives to Portland, Mt Hood hiking and skiing, the Columbia River, Multnomah Falls and great entertainment at McMenamin's "Edgefield (15 Min)" and "Grand Lodge" (35 min.). Infants 0-2 welcome.

Unit is 200 square feet plus loft and deck, behind the main house. Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space with quick access to I-84. We are just 12 minutes to Gresham but have the feeling of being secluded. In the winter come for the wind and mother nature! The unit has a private entrance in the back lower level of our home. It includes a separate BR, living area w/ gas fireplace, dining table w full kitchen. We are out in the country and do have a few livestock including a miniature donkey, a sheep, a goat and chickens. No Pets

Explore North Portland walking districts (restaurants, food carts, shops!) or the roses at Peninsula Park🌹, then retire to this hip and spacious basement apartment. You’ll love its cork floors (that feel so nice under foot), creative finishes, and immaculate cleanliness. I live upstairs, but I am mindful of noise. My two adorable cats, however, get the zoomies and run around— you will hear them sometimes. Ample toiletries, quality coffee and tea, and travel guides provided.

Visit Portland Oregon just 20 minutes away, or take a longer day trip. Mount Hood and the Columbia River gorge are about an hour away. Enjoy a fully appointed spacious and light-filled space, perfect for a couple or a family with one child. No smoking on the premises.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.
