We'll get comfortable in our studio barn/workshop area, where you'll grab a glass of homemade wine from our organic orchard, wildcrafted herbal tea, and/or fruit-infused spring water from our bar before we get started. Then you'll get busy working hands-on with different tools and materials to create your own custom, unique ring exactly to your liking. I can provide as much support as necessary to help you to feel comfortable with the process and to create your desired outcome. We'll seal/finish your ring if necessary and you'll take it home with you at the end of the session. For those who are interested, you will also have an opportunity to tour our urban homestead and be immersed in the many endeavors we have going. Our Manchac Magic Kayak Tour will start with pickup from 732 N Rampart St. *(Look for van marked Wild Louisiana Tours in front of Ace hardware)* Depending on the day, our tours start at 9:00AM, 12:00PM, and 3:00PM. Morning Tour Pickup: 9AM at 732 N Rampart St. New Orleans, LA Afternoon Tour Pickup: 12PM at 732 N Rampart St. New Orleans, LA Evening Tour Pickup: 3PM at 732 N Rampart St. New Orleans, LA The drive to our tour location is 30-40min. We will make a bathroom stop, if people need it, at a gas station near our launch. You are welcome to bring your own water and snacks, or get some from the gas station. We will begin our tour through the beautiful and scenic Manchac Swamp. Your guide will tell you all about the wildlife and historical significance of the area. We will stop in scenic locations and take pictures and relax under the cypress trees. The tour will last about 2hrs depending on the skill level of the group. We will return to our launch site and load our boats. We will then return to 732 N Rampart St. to conclude the trip. Other things to note: -Gratuities for guides are not included. 20% is a baseline/standard for the tourism industry. -We still go out in the rain as long as it is not dangerous to guests. Lightning, fire, etc. It is good to bring a raincoat just in case.

Welcome to an amazing Soundbath that takes place in a town with one of the most amazing quartz crystal energies in the world . We will meet at our small studio in Hot Springs Village and enjoy a relaxing Soundbath. Relax , explore our beautiful town, make new friends. Please note that Hot Springs Village is about 35 minutes from downtown Hot Springs.

Your choice of introduction to Stained Glass or Mosaics. All supplies, lunch & beverages are included. In either of these inspiring & creative experiences student/s will learn to design & fabricate their own unique art piece. We begin either method by deciding what design each student would like to create. For students in Stained Glass a master pattern is designed from their image in mind & a copy is made. The copy is cut into pattern pieces that will correlate with their glass choices & the master pattern. Each pattern piece is placed & outlined on colorful glass choices. They are then cut out using a scoring tool & running pliers. Each piece is then ground with diamond head grinders to remove sharp edges & to fit the original design. When all pieces are cut (like a puzzle) they are cleaned & copper foil tape is applied to cover the sides & wrapped around both top & bottom edges. A soldering iron & solder wire is then used to bind all the pieces together, front & back. The finished project is then given a good cleaning & polished. For Mosaic classes a design is created & filled with small pieces of stained glass to create the image. When all pieces have been applied, grout is used to fill any gaps between the glass pieces or epoxy resin can be poured over the top to add the finishing touches.

I will put together a route based on guests’ preferences on distance and interests in history, nature, restaurants, etc. I have been biking since I was a child. I have been giving unofficial tours for years and actually worked part time as an official bike tour leader in downtown Minneapolis for a couple of years. Having lived in New Orleans the last 10 years, I can provide guest with a wealth of knowledge not only about the wetlands surrounding the Nola but also the best local restaurants, music venues, and hangouts.
