Perched in the Historic and timeless town of Silver Plume. One is just feet from friendly hiking trails that take you to spectacular views of this Historic Silver mining country. The home is 50 miles west of Denver and a 12 minute drive (10 miles) to Loveland Ski Area, 30 minutes to Summit County with more skiing. This is great for a weekend getaway. Silver Plume is a Historic Victorian mining village, with an elevation is 9100 feet above sea level. The cottage was built in the 1860's.

This affordable option was originally built as railroad worker housing, and I bought it as a raft guide/teacher over 15 years ago, and used it as my first home and base for adventure. The area abounds with activities: hiking, fishing, rafting, skiing, or relaxing in town at one of the breweries. The hot springs are also nearby for a day of soaking after your activities.

High end furnishings and creature comforts create a relaxing retreat. The bunk room features two queen and two twin bunks. The master features cozy parachute bedding.

It's on a quiet, residential street that the local deer visit daily, and also just three blocks from the heart of the action that BV has to offer. We include all of the basic toiletries, linens, kitchen wares, WiFi, a smart tv, games and endless coziness. Plenty of parking out front and a small yard in the back.

We accept dogs, but cannot accept cats due to other guests allergies.
